History

On July 13, 1980, 13 people gathered in the home of Pastor Bud and Sally Reedy for worship.

On August 31, 1980, the fledgling congregation of Nazarenes moved their worship services to what is now known as Hershey KinderCare.  In those days, they were averaging around 40 in attendance.

On Sunday afternoon, November 9, 1980 a new congregation of Nazarenes organized in Hershey, Pa. officiated by Dr. Paul D. Mangum, Philadelphia district superintendent, and Rev. L. G. Gordon, home missions coordinator.  In the organization service, Dr. Paul Mangum spoke, Pastor Bud Reedy supplied the special music, and 24 people were taken in as charter members.
